Course Information

The Red Cross Nurse Assistant Training course has several components. Students must pass all portions of the training in order to graduate.
  • Blended learning

Students will first complete 43 hours of online training required prior to the listed in-classroom dates. Access to the online material will be granted soon after registration and no later than roughly 7 – 10 days prior to the classroom courses. Those who do not complete the online portion will not be allowed into the in-person sessions and must reschedule.

  • Classroom learning / lab

After completing the online portion of the class, students will attend 35 hours of classroom practical / testing sessions.

  • After successful completion of steps 1 and 2 students may apply for employment and/or register for the state exam for licensure. All information for state testing will be provided after your course.

Prerequisites

Students must be 16 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED. Scrubs and masks are required for in-person sessions. Feel free to contact our office with any questions. Though not a prerequisite for CNA training, it is highly recommended that you also have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification card. This is required by most employers and is a separate class/certification. Information on options to take this course (if needed/desired) will be emailed prior to your course and can be found here or by selecting BLS from the navigation menu on our website.

Please read our cancellation and rescheduling policy prior to registration here.

Price

Click a list of dates for pricing. The dates on registration are listed for the required in-person social distancing sessions (masks and scrubs are required) and all online coursework MUST be completed prior to these sessions. Online access is granted generally within one week of registration and no later than 7 – 10 days prior to the in class sessions via e-mail. Click a date below to get started!

The Eagan training facility is easy to find and a comfortable place to learn. The material covered and hands on practice was thorough and relevant. The instructor, Ben, was amazing and gave us all the confidence we needed to complete the course successfully.

Mike was THE BEST CPR/AED instructor I have ever experienced! He made the course serious but fun, interactive, and engaging. I would encourage everyone and anyone to take CPR, especially with Mike!

The classroom aspect was great. Unfortunately the computer class/testing system is horrible. I guess that part is controlled by the Red Cross, so this company has nothing to do with that system.

I took a blended class so it was easy to complete on my own time, with a separate skills test. The class size was small and the instructor was very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend!
