Make a difference! The American Red Cross CNA Nurse Assistant Training Program offers students a chance to learn in a hands-on environment under the eyes of experienced licensed nurses, bolstered by a curriculum that meets or exceeds federal and state standards.
Graduates of the program are eligible to take the Minnesota CNA competency examination. After successful completion of the state exam (additional state testing fees may apply) you will be listed on the state Nurse Aide Registry.
Blended learning
Students will first complete 43 hours of online training required prior to the listed in-classroom dates. Access to the online material will be granted soon after registration and no later than roughly 7 – 10 days prior to the classroom courses. Those who do not complete the online portion will not be allowed into the in-person sessions and must reschedule.
Classroom learning / lab
After completing the online portion of the class, students will attend 35 hours of classroom practical / testing sessions.
After successful completion of steps 1 and 2 students may apply for employment and/or register for the state exam for licensure. All information for state testing will be provided after your course.
Please read our cancellation and rescheduling policy prior to registration here.
